Lilith & Eve is a new indie pattern company

Lilith & Eve is a new indie pattern company that’s just about to launch its first pattern

Lilith & Eve was created by Nicole Davis & Sarah Frack last year (2014) who wanted to sell thoughtful and original sewing patterns that are sized for a modern woman’s body. They’re  based in Philadelphia, PA.

And are just about to launch their first blouse pattern (LE101 – Drapey Blouse) on May 5th

The Drapey Blouse pattern is is a versatile button down in both tank top and long sleeve versions. It fits loosely in the bust and waist, but has a fitted shoulder for a contemporary look. Eve’s version features a slim sleeve and simple collar. Both have back drape that is easy-to-sew. Available in both PDF ($13) and a paper pattern (£18) and divided in to two size groups: 2-14 and 12-24.

Patterns include clear instructions and pieces are easy to locate. Wording is down to earth and the cutting and sewing process is simplified by the easy-to-spot icons that represent each of these personalities.

Nicole and Sarah have spent years sewing with traditional patterns and instructions, and want to improve upon the old formula by keeping what works and dropping what doesn’t make sense! Lilith & Eve sewing patterns are about design versatility where each garment can be made and worn in two very different ways.

Their are four initial patterns in development and the others to be released include a lined jacket, blouse, maxi/tunic and a tank top so watch this space! Drapey Blouse will be available from 5th May from Lilith & Eve.
