The Morris Blazer is the latest pattern from Grainline, and they think this blazer will fill a real void in the market falling between a typical structured blazer and a more relaxed cardigan. Its the perfect garment to throw on between the seasons, and can be dressed up or down for day time or evenings.
This pattern has been designed to use with both stretch wovens or stable knits. Both the woven and knit version follow the same instructions. Techniques used include sewing a straight seam, setting sleeves, sewing a shawl collar, adding facings, and topstitching. The Morris Blazer has been rated as an advanced beginner pattern so Grainline say if you’ve got a garment or two under your belt you’ll be just fine!
Pattern is available as a printed pattern ($16) or downloadable PDF ($12) and
