We love Simplicity 1167 – it features a skinny fit pair of cropped trousers (or city shorts), blazer and knit tank (shell) top. It comes in sizes 6-24.
The other latest patterns from the Mimi Style collection is Simplicity 1159. This pattern includes a beautiful bow tie halterneck dress with choice of maxi skirt or knee length pencil.
All Mimi G Style patterns have great video tutorials so making all the garments from these pattern will be a doddle! Here’s a sneak peak at one of the easy-to-follow videos for this pattern:
Another new and brilliant pattern to update your wardrobe this season is Simplicity 1161. This fab tunic top has elements of a classic peasant style but features shoe string straps with cut-away shoulders leading to a short sleeve or longer fuller bell shape sleeve.
What’s not to like about the on-trend pull-on trousers from Simplicity 1165. Pattern also includes short shorts and knee length ones too – just add some tiny pompom trimming and you’ve the latest look on the High Street!
Wrap, Twist & Tie
Simplicity 1164 is such a versatile pattern. Achieve an indefinite number of looks by just wrapping, twisting and tieing. This garment has been designed to go from skirt to a dress in next to no time. How clever is that!
Simplicity 1154 is another fun and practical dress but this time for knit fabrics. It can be made in two lengths and with a few skillful twists and ties is perfect for making the most of one dress on holiday!

After watching the Great British Sewing Bee contestants make corsets – here’s one that will fit whatever your bra cup size! Simplicity 1183 has separate pattern pieces for sizes A through to DD for both Misses’ and Plus sizes. This pattern has options for over and under the bust boning for a much better fit as well as front closure for easier dressing.
Simplicity has brought back to patterns from its archives to celebrate ’50s fashion. Simplicity 1166 includes a beautifully simple blouse, bra top and full button front skirt. While Simplicity 1155 screams glamour with a gorgeous special occasion dress with contrast bodice inset, a V-neckline dress back with bow.
