Here's some of our favourites this time that we think you're going to want to make!
It's definitely all about the sleeve shape this season.
Simplicity 8513 includes a range of bodysuits with a cold-shoulder and long bell-shape sleeve which we are a real fan of. Bodysuits are a great option to wear this season and can be worn with jeans and skirts. make it your favourite winter fabric, doesn't it look fab made in velvet!
Simplicity 8511 is a versatile dress pattern, which features raglan sleeves and French darts and the star of the pattern is the four sleeve styles. Create the perfect dress for any occasion using fabrics such as crepe, silk, satin, linen, velvet
Simplicity 8512 provides more unusual sleeve styles for you and these tops are perfect to wear for any occasion, and include a crew neck and mock neck with or without sleeves. The sleeveless mock neck has a beautiful ruffle detail on one side, and can also be made in long or short sleeves and optional cute peplum!
Simplicity design fantastic vintage and retro patterns, which have either been reproduced from their archives or follow styles of the eras. If you love vthe vintage vibe, you going to love the new sewing patterns:
Simplicity 8504 - gorgeous dress from from around '30s featuring a classic silhouette from this era with button front, neckline and sleeve variations.
Simplicity 8507 - moving on to the '50s, this sewing pattern features simple to make skirt and shaped stole. The skirt is softly pleated at either side of centre front waistline with stitched pleats, released at lower edge of skirt back. The pockets are concealed in the side seams, and waistband has loops for the stole. The stole is cut in two sections and comes to a point at centre-back and slanted pockets trim stole front.
Simplicity 8508 - This stylish 1940s suit features a jacket which as been styled with a button closing, which turn back to form revers. A flap trim is cut in one with the side front and long sleeves and lining finish the jacket. You can also choose to make with triple flaps for an authentic feel. The slim skirt is styled with a centre front, kick pleat triple flaps enhance the jacket.
Simplicity 8509 - We absolutely adore this shawl collar 1950's coats. It features top-stitching trim, three-quarter or long length raglan sleeves with turn back cuffs, welt pockets trim and one button at neck and has a band at lower edge of the one-piece raglan sleeves. You choose which features to add!
Still on the vintage theme - Simplicity 8506 - This is a fab pattern if you're just looking for different sleeves to add to your favourite sewing pattern. The 1930's set of sleeves allows you to add any of these sleeves to other top and dress pattern bodices, and includes 8 sleeve styles and a guide to match sleeves to bodice patterns. What a great idea!
If you're learning to sew and want the latest looks o the high street then you'll love this pattern! Simplicity 8515 includes skirts that either beginners or those looking for a last minute party outfit Create the skirts with favourite trims and novelty fabric for a 'not on the high street' skirt.
