"The Pattern Pages website started off as a hobby for us but last year, we decided to take the plunge and produce our own digital dressmaking magazine for you. It was scary but we realised that there was gap in the market for a fashion-led magazine for dressmakers and sewers who loved fashion and wanted their sewing hobby to relate to high street fashion like us, and also who were interested in the fabric and pattern designers beind the patterns that we've all grown to love," says Emily Bonnar, part of the mother & daughter team behind The Pattern Pages.
"We've had incredible feedback from those in the sewing industry, and we couldn't have made it the success it has been without the thousands of dressmakers and sewers that have taken the time to download, read and enjoy the issues so far so it's a HUGE thank you to everyone! Issues 1 to 4 will remain free to download. We don't have a big publisher behind us and in order to continue to produce The Pattern Pages, we're now offering subsequent issues as part of our new VIP dressmaker club," explains Julie Bonnar, part of the mother & daughter team behind The Pattern Pages.
