The options are endless, giving you a one-of-a-kind dress every time.
The other feature is the optional pockets, which gives the dress a more casual look for daytime when you want to quickly stash your phone away while on the go.

Like shirt dresses? Then you going to love the Matilda sewing pattern from Megan Nielsen
- the styling options are endless!
Matilda is a utility style shirt dress with classic tailoring techniques. The sewing pattern is full ofgorgeous features like princess seams, statement skirt pockets, a lovely rounded collar and stand, drop shoulders with sleeve bands, front and back yokes and pleated breast pockets.
You can make this dress as shown or as paired back version if you like. The rust cotton version shown here, Megan Nielsen has decided to go all out on the detailing to show you some of the ways you could use this fantastic pattern. It has contrast topstitching everywhere. The sweet cotton gingham version is where she played with cutting some pieces on the bias
to create visual interest, and cut all internal facings in pretty pink cotton. This version is
just perfect for summer.
Megan says, "I've designed this pattern to make it easier for you to create your own versions (you know that's always important to me!). To change the look try things like leaving off the breast or skirt pockets, changing up the collar or leaving it off as well, cutting patterned fabric in a thoughtful way to maximise impact, shortening the skirt to make a peplum blouse... the options are honestly endless."
Elegance and knit come in one garment with the latest digital pattern Jackie, from the designer behind Victory Patterns, Kristiann Boos.

Option 2 is a sleeveless mid-length dress with hemline ending just below the knee. Leanr how to sew a knit set sleeve, sew a knit facing for a sleeveless finish and stabilise knit seams.

We're so excited to see this gorgeous caftan pattern from Closet Case patterns
as it's much more than just a beach cover up!
This is a great warm weather staple but unlike some throw it on dresses and cover up, it has style too! All options feature a deep V-neckline with loose kimono sleeves, inset centre panel and roomy pockets.
View A is modern and a bit architectural with its striking pleats beneath the bust but if you prefer a softer and more romantic dress, views B and C are for you. They include a gently gathered bodice with an optional waist tie for a figure-skimming silhouette in two different skirt lengths.
The Charlie Caftan is available as PDF pattern or printed pattern, the choice is yours. To find out more visit Case Closet Patterns.
The ladies at By Hand London say, "The Orsola dress and skirt pattern will be the only one you'll need to see you through the summer."
The Orsola is as easy-to-wear as it is to make and the pattern includes a chic sheath dress with an unexpected wrap detail in back, and doesn't have any tricky zippers or fastenings.
Both dress styles feature a fully lined sleeveless bodice with a bateau neckline, elegant wrap back with a curved back neckline and back hem, with the option of a tulip scallop or a straight and simple front hem. Orsola is also just as striking made as a separate wrap skirt. All options have a faced hem to give the drape and neat finish that Orsola deserves.

We always look forward to a new pattern release from Sew House Seven.
Here's the Burnside Bibs
The sewing pattern Burnside Bibs is a feminine take and brings traditional overalls bang up-to-date. The pattern offers two versions with a variety of features that can be mixed up for different looks. What we like about the pattern, there's lots of different ways to tie them too!
Both versions include a front waistband, cute curved patch pockets, optional handy back pockets, a wide leg that can be made full length or cropped, and has over-the-shoulder straps that transition to narrower ties that tunnel through back waist belt loops creating a paper bag waist in the back (unusual detailing).
Version #1 includes some fitting in the back with back waist darts and an invisible side zipper. It also has a bib with a curved neck.
Version #2 has no closure to sew - just slip it on over the hips. It has more back waist fullness but offers a bit more ease in sewing for the inspired, advanced beginner. It also has a bib with a straight neck.
The pattern is comes as a PDF to download immediately from Sew House Seven or will be available as a printed pattern sometime in July.
