Brother has launched six new sewing, quilting and embroidery machines that will give UK sewing enthusiasts access to a range of innovative features
The new Innov-is series includes a top of the range model that has a scan and stippling function that allows users to turn their hand-drawn pictures and images into intricate stippling patterns without having to use a PC. Aimed at quilters and crafters, all the machines combine Brother’s usual high standards of quality and reliability with the latest innovations from the company’s state-of-the-art product development labs in Japan.
The new models are NV1100, NV1300, NV800E,, NV1800Q, NV2600 and XV.
This stylish sewing (and quilting) machine is powerful and packed with features such as a large 210 mm work space to the right of the needle, SFDS – Square Feed Drive System, advanced needle threader and automatic thread cutter plus lock stitch button and knee lift. Priced at £749.
Another great little sewing machine with the larger 210 mm work space to the right of the needle and has the same features as the Innov-is 1100 but also has combine and customised stitches so you can adjust the stitch length and tension. Priced at £899.
This machine will tackle almost any sewing project from fashion to home furnishing and will alow you to put your personal stamp on any project.
Main advanced features are a SFDS – Square Feed Drive System and ICAPS – Continuous Automatic Pressure System plus fully automatic thread tension, sideways feed, pivot function and also includes a wide table. Priced at £1,299.
If you’ve been thinking about adding an embroidery-only machine to your existing sewing machine, you should consider the Innov-is NV800E.
It has a good range of features including 160 x 260 mm embroidery area, 138 built-in embroidery patterns, colour LCD touch screen, quick-set bobbin and auto needle threader plus 11 built-in fonts. With hundreds of built-in decorative and utility stitches plain fabrics will come to life with embellishment. Priced at £1,299.

Priced at £6449.

The Innov-is NV2600 has some big features for beautiful results including colour LCD touch screen, 160 x 260 mm embroidery area, 232 built-in embroidery patterns, fully automatic thread tension and sideways feed plus a pivot function and ICAPS – Continuous Automatic Pressure System. Priced at £1,999.
Brother has also updated its PE-Design 10 embroidery software with new and improved features such as the ability to specify multiple sewing directions and the option to convert stitch patterns to outline patterns. The new software is available for £999.
