Introducing Fancy Tiger Crafts’ first sewing pattern
Fancy Tiger Crafts is owned by Jaime Jennings and Amber Corcoran who believe that making things by hand makes people feel better and that if more people made things,
the world would be a better place!
Fancy Tiger’s shop opened in 2006 in Denver Colorado by partners Matthew Brown and Jaime Jennings. The product of their two passions respectively, fashion and crafting. As the business grew, they saw an opportunity to expand in 2008 and split the stores into Fancy Tiger Crafts at the original location and Fancy Tiger Clothing across the street. Jaime then brought on board long-time friend and crafts aficionado, Amber Corcoran, as a partner for the growing crafts store and Matthew took the reins on his own with Fancy Tiger Clothing. With successful bricks and mortar businesses in 2014, Jaime and Amber opened the online store to share the love.
Sailor Top Pattern!
And now they had just announce their first garment sewing pattern is out Sailor Top by Amber Corcoran. This top is a great first garment pattern and its easy-to-wear and easy-to-sew raglan sleeve top with a sweet gathered neckline. It’s A-line shape won’t cling to lumps and bumps so it’s very flattering.
This wardrobe staple is a practical addition for every day wear and will look great in many different fabrics. Make in prints, use a simple chambray or make in a special ocassion fabric. Available in sizes XS-XXL. The pattern is available in print and as a PDF digital download. Also if sewers need help with your Sailor Top, there’s also an online workshop through Creativebug.
We can’t wait for their next pattern!
