Between the seasons with the Bruyére blouse

The weather has changed over the last couple of weeks and if you are like me,
you're already rummaging through your autumn/winter wardrobe proclaiming
you’ve nothing to wear or that fits!

Deer & Doe has just released the perfect blouse to transition between the seasons. What I really like about the Bruyére tunic shirt blouse, it’s not for stick insects! It’s full of little details designed to accommodate those with a curvier figure.

Not usually a fan of shirts, this button-up version with long sleeves, is cinched at the waist and is tunic length so hides any unsightly lumps and bumps! Wear it with skinny jeans or for maximum comfort, a thick pair of leggings.

It also features gathered sleeve cuffs and a flat collar to create a casual style, but for more experienced sewers, it has lots of technical more challenging detailing like a back yoke and pleats. make in a light- to medium-weight fabric like cotton lawn or chambray or something a little warmer like wool flannel.

Available from the Deer & Doe website in sizes 34-46 for €12.80.
