Designer Adrianna Appl from Hey June Handmade has recently
launched a sewing pattern for the perfect woven shirt that’s
as gorgeous inside as out!
The Cheyenne is a casual woven shirt or tunic that has two style options. Option 1 is a standard collared button down shirt that’s ideal for chambray and denim fabrics that are all so trendy at the moment while option 2 features a dropped neckline, has no collar and a shaped half placket.
Both options include full or ¾ length sleeves with optional sleeve tabs and pockets and a selection of lengths. All inside seams are finished with French seaming for a beautiful shirt inside and out.
The Cheyenne can be made in a variety of fabrics making it a very versatile sewing pattern. Dress up for work in fancier fabrics like cotton sateen or georgette, or made a casual version with a soft flannel plaid or cotton shirting. Wear it with a suit and heels or with a pair of leggings and boots – it will become a real go-to sewing pattern.
Although not new, another comfy sewing pattern for hanging out at the weekend is the Halifax. The Halifax Hoodie is a relaxed outer layer with 5 different options. There are two main body options – a shaped bodice or a high-low bodice with twisted side seams, and additional features include a hood, kangaroo pocket, full zipper, front notch, and funnel neck. This wardrobe staple is perfect for layering up when temperatures plummet!
Both these PDF pattern come in sizes xs-2xl, instructions for printing the size you need only plus diagrams for taping the pattern together and digitally illustrated directions for every sewing step.
