Esme Young will be showcasing some of her iconic fashion designs from the 1970s at The Stitch Festival
Esme Young, fashion designer, film costume maker and judge of BBC TV’s The Great British Sewing Bee will be hosting an exhibition of her iconic 1970s designs from fashion and film. Her Swanky Modes London exhibition will be held at The Stitch Festival at The Business Design Centre in London from 27th February – 1st March 2020.
The exhibition features garments from her 1970s Swanky Modes collection. Garments include the Plastic Mac and Padlock Dress, Amorphous dress and Flasher Dress, and Flap Top and Trousers. There will also be outfits that Esme has designed for Bridget Jones’s Diary, Trainspotting and other well-known films. Esme will be discussing her fashion career on stage on Thursday and Saturday at the show.
