It’s great news for sewers as more indie sewing pattern companies are extending their sewing pattern sizes to be more inclusive. Here are some of the latest we are happy to report!
From Megan Nielsen……
This dress and top sewing pattern has had a little update and now includes extended sizing as well as updated variations. The Sudley Curve sewing pattern is a reversible loose fit blouse and gathered waist dress, which features a keyhole cut out (which can be worn at the front or back), ties, peter pan collar and multiple sleeve lengths.
Acacia is a pair of super comfy and easy to sew low rise bikini cut underwear. The pattern features gusset with fully enclosed seams, comfortable fit and ample coverage. The detailed instructions include three different elastic insertion methods. Perfect for beginners to learn new skills or experienced sewers to whip up quickly. Make yourself an entire drawer of gorgeous undies and use up all your scraps!Acacia is now Curve 14-30.
From Helen’s Closet…..
Two of this brand’s workhorse knit sewing patterns have had a size range upgrade – Avery leggings and Elliot Sweater & Tee. The Avery leggings are now available in sizes 0-34 and the Elliot sweater is available in sizes 0-30.
Both Elliot and Avery were originally graded using jump sizing (XS-XXL). They kept that original grading on these knit patterns because of its forgiving fit and simple design and have relabelled the sizes numerically so they now go from 0/2-28/30 and added an extra size on the Avery Leggings (32/34)!
