New Helena Dress from Sew Me Something

Just love the new relaxed Helena dress sewing pattern from Jules at Sew Me Something!

Helena Dress sewing pattern from Sew Me Something

This dress is an easy to wear relaxed fit shift dress where the curved front neckband holds the centre front pin-tucked detail in place. It also has a double back yoke that contains tiny weeny gathers across the back. Both these are give a clean finish to the neckline. With unobtrusive side seam bust dart, you can personalise the fit. Other features include side in-seam pockets, elbow or3/4 length sleeves with placket and button to roll up.

The new Sew Me Something sewing patterns have been designed to teach you new techniques and processes while you sew. Making the Helena dress, sewers will learn how to successfully sew darts, set in sleeves, understitch on a facing and sew a neat finish to a back neckline.

We love the shape of this dress as it will suit most body shapes. Make it in linen, lightweight wools, denim, poplin or crepe de chine. Helena comes in sizes 8-22 and is priced at £13.99.

It's available from Sew Me Something's emporium.
