The Indigo smock has no fiddly fastenings so you can quickly make it, wear and go. Choose to sew it with classic gathered seams or elevate it to a stand-out piece in your wardrobe with the pretty exposed frill seam.

This sewing pattern has a bodice shaped with bust darts, gently curved empire waistline, and a floaty gathered skirt. You can make it as a a top with trendy dipped hem ending at the low hip, or if you prefer, a knee-length dress with straight hem and pockets. With options of three-quarter flounce and slim-fitting bracelet sleeves - you will want to make more than one!

The sewing pattern includes the usual jargon-busting instructions that we’ve come to expect from Tilyy and the Buttons, as well as helpful sewing tips, and colour photos showing you each step so you can feel confident making it. This patttern has bee designed for confident beginners and for using with light- and medium-weight woven fabrics with drape such as cotton lawn, chambray, rayon, Tencel, double gauze, crepe de chine, or georgette.
