Atenas Jacket from Itch to Stitch

A denim jacket is a garment that everybody needs in their wardrobe, it’s perfect for throwing on with a dress or jeans and trousers!

The Atenas Jacket from Itch to Stitch is a classic denim jacket. The denim jacket was originally released by Levi Strauss in 1953, and has remained relatively unchanged since! You can’t get more timeless than that. It means once you make this jacket, you will wear it for years, and it will not go out of style! But of course, you don’t have to make in the standard denim – mix it up and make with corduroy, colourd denims and canvas!

The Atenas has all the classic details of a denim jacket such as chest pockets with flaps, single-welt pockets, flat-felled seams and topstitching, but you can simplify and omit these details if your prefer. Regardless of what you decide the pattern instructions will walk you through every step of the way!

With options for A, B, C, D and DD cups and princess seams, you will be able to get a really good fit. Suiable for advanced sewers to tackle or intermediates if omitting the welt pockets. Available in sizes 00 – 20.
