An easy-to-wear, every-season dress with a secret!
The Eclipse Dress from Sew Different is a loose-fitting delicate bubble shape with a diagonal style line that wraps around the dress. The dress has an oversized patch pocket with a secret second pocket hidden inside.
The pattern has a softly curved scoop hem that drops down at the back that’s finished with bias binding. You have to make this dress in a sleeveless or elbow-length sleeves with a chunky fold-back. There is also lengthen and shorten lines to allow you to adjust to above the knee or the best length for you.
like all Sew Different patterns, the Eclipse Dress goes on over the head so there is no need for a zip. This sewing pattern is perfect for linen, cotton, cotton blends, lightweight wools, jersey, and viscose and chambray fabrics. But why not try making in velvet for a party dress!
