Meet the new Poppy & Jazz paper patterns!

There are 10 printed patterns in the Poppy & Jazz range, and includes five brand new that are extra adorable designs

The Birch Trousers are perfect for kids who love to run around and stay comfy! Made from snuggly knit fabrics they feature an elasticated waistband and cuffs, with the option to add a drawstring at the waist. This is a beginner level sewing pattern. It makes a great first jersey project if you’re new to sewing with knits such as medium-weight knit fabrics, such as French terry, ponte di Roma, interlock jerseys and cotton. Available in sizes for babies and children from 0-3 months to 6 years.

With a nod to the 1950s, the Daisy Dress sewing pattern makes a great little party outfit. The pattern features a sweet little bodice, gathered skirt, cap sleeves and a peter pan collar. It opens up completely at the back to make dressing easy, and the design makes it perfect for fun contrasting fabrics! Fabrics recommended include lightweight, natural woven fabrics such as cotton lawn, poplin, linen and broderie anglaise.

The versatile Elm T-­Shirt is a great wardrobe staple for the little ones and featues three different neckline options and two sleeve lengths, giving lots of variations. The neckband can be sewn either as a skinny or wider width, and there’s also the option to add a handy popper opening on one shoulder, making the top even easier to get over wriggly ones’ heads!

The Juniper Skirt has two variations, which make it either a super quick make, or one with a few more details. Version A is a simple knee length gathered skirt with an elasticated waistband. Version B has a flat front waistband with comfy elastic at the back and features a smooth top yoke and a full gathered skirt attached.

An essential item in any child’s wardrobe, the Maple Cardigan is a great layering piece. Made from cosy knit fabrics it features a waistband and cuffs to help keep draughts out. The cardigan closes with press studs, making it easy to put on and take off.

Super simple and easy to make, the Strawberry Sweatshirt is a true staple and a great addition to a little one’s wardrobe. Designed to be sewn in stable knits, it’s a great first knit fabric project for any beginner. Leave it plain for everyday, or have fun ‘jazzing’ it up with appliqué or embroidery!

Willow is a classic little pinafore. Featuring a bib with adjustable straps and a gathered skirt, it has additional details such as sweet pleated pockets and a button-­‐down back. It can be made up in a range of fabrics, from quilting cottons to corduroys and denims, making it ideal for year-­round wear.

The Dandelion Dungarees are the cutest pair of reversible jersey dungarees. Perfect for having fun with fabrics, they’re also super practical as they can be quickly switched round if there’s a lunch stains to hide! The dungarees fasten with press studs, and have extra long straps to allow for growth. Easy to sew, they are a great project for beginners.

The Honeydew Hoodie is a super cute hooded jacket. Made from medium weight knits, it’s reversible making it great for showcasing different fabrics. With a hood, long sleeves and a double-­‐breasted front, its lovely as a summer jacket, or can be worn as a cardigan-­‐style layer under a coat for cooler months. The hoodie fastens with six poppers at the front.

Perfect for knit fabrics, such as cotton jersey or interlock, the Pansy Dress is quick and easy to make. Its simple and classic design make it a great everyday dress, which is easy to put on and super comfy to wear. With its straightforward construction Pansy is an ideal choice for those who are new to sewing with knits.
