Partner Overalls from Ready to Sew

Another super stylish pattern from this wonderful pattern brand!

How cool are the Partner Overalls from Ready to Sew! Inspired by workwear like carpenter pants and gardening overalls, they have a straight-leg with an adjustable cinch tie at the waist. The pattern has four patch pockets, including a large pocket that wraps around the back. The hem is drafted to be full length, but looks just as stylish when rolled above the ankle too. These overalls are practical, comfortable and designed to last. The pattern’s ease at the waist allows it to be put on without any buttons, buttonholes or zippers.

The pattern comes in sizes  (32-58 (4-30 (UK) and 1-26 (US) and the drafting for size range 1 and 2 are different. The overalls for range 2 (46-58), which require a chest dart and two front waist darts as well as a slightly rounder centre front to accommodate a larger midsection. Sew these overalls with elastic at the bottom of the strap for added , which allows you to move more freely. Choose bottom-weight woven fabrics like denim, twill, canvas, gabardine, moleskin and medium weight linen. For size range 2, it recommendsyou select a fabric with 3% to 6% of elastane.
