The Zero Waste No. 1 sewing pattern
This is made from a rectangle and as the pattern name suggests, there are no scraps of fabric left over when you complete it. Even the fabric which is cut-out for the neckline, is converted into pocket bags! The neckline is finished with a stand-up collar and the two strips of fabric are used for the wiatband channel and the ties and you can use thefinal piece of fabric to sew a hairband!
The Zero Waste No. 2 sewing pattern
This is alos sewn from a rectangle. The two triangles remain after cutting out the pattern, can be made into an origami bag or a version with sleeves can be sewn. The cut-out neckline is converted into a pocket and is finished with a ribbon or bias binding.
