Material mash-up




One of the trends that has really stood out for us is, what we've nicknamed, material mash-up.  This trend shows how different fabrics can be used together to create a great garment from subtle lace panels to the bold leather sleeves, we’ve seen it all!

Our sewing pattern choices below have been inspired greatly from what we've seen on the catwalk. Fendi showed off bold square shapes in their garments with over-sized leather panels, for the winter as well striking designs from Balenciaga with mixed-fabric paneling on this gorgeous grey dress, pairing the two different textured fabrics together to glamourise this bold look.
